one of my co-workers’ sons enrolled in a national guard minor’s program last fall
he was supposed to be graduating from it in march with his GED and college assistance.
he came out as gay to his unit yesterday.
the national guard’s reaction to this is to lock him in a room by himself, not let him use the latrine when anyone else is in it, and hold him incommunicado from his family.
apparently no one told them that DADT has ended.
my co-worker is going to get him out as soon as she gets off work today, and god help them if they don’t let him go.
SHAME ON YOU, NATIONAL GUARD. SHAME!
