Ice Cream for Dinner

I had a great day yesterday.

Today I could have taken a pass on, but it’s all a part of something bigger, I guess.

I have a tendency to get over-involved in projects and group initiatives, and I always have this lingering fear that I’m going to BECOME my projects. The thing is, since I’ve really launched myself into Occupy & other local social issues, I realized that I was the project before it even got a title.

Anyway, I just don’t want to burn out, because this work is more important than some work thing where I would be trying to help turn a profit. I have my eyes set on literally changing the country and the world.

Because I find that so important, I have to give myself space to relax. That means sometimes I just need to drink a beer and have ice cream for dinner.
