Urban shopping
See, I was raised in Philadelphia— it’s weird to me that other urban areas would be any different.
I’ve always lived less than a 15 minute walk away from a supermarket. I still do. I live less than a 20 minute walk to supermarkets now, and there are still 19 million fucking walmarts in Louisville.
People who live in the neighborhoods served by supermakets are more likely to shop there.
That sucks about chicago, Michelle. I used tothink there were no supermarkets in the west end of louisville until my mom bought a house there. There are several krogers in the neighborhood, but peoplewho don’t live in the west end don’t know there are supermarkets there, because all they see are the run down houses, litter, kfc’s McDonalds and train tracks.
They don’t see the beauty of the community or the fact that there are 3 supermakets in the area.
