I’m really happy to be back at work! :D
The staycation was wonderful, and wasn’t one day too long. I could have stood to sleep until 11 again today, but C’est la vie, oui?
I also did something a little different with my hair this morning. A couple of braids, semi-pigtail style, tucked away. I’m feeling cute, so watch out world. I’m comin’ at your neck with an arsenal of adorable!!

Man, Monday needs to get the hell out of my face with this morning crap.
Today is one of those days where I’m extra glad I like my job, because I feel like it’s good to be here despite Morning.
Today’s outfit highlights include:
- Green eyeshadow
- this NEON YELLOW SHIRT
- this hair dongle (Amy Poehler might wanna get in on this dongle action)
- my thrift shop tie.
See this beautiful dress? I bought it over a week ago, but you know. It’s the holidays, so the shipping services are all constipated. I figured I’d have it by now, but no dice.
I doubt it will arrive tomorrow morning.
I really wanted to have it to wear in Philly, but it seems as though it will not arrive until Thursday, when I will be breathing the chunky air and drinking the leaded water distributed in the City of Brotherly Love.
But can we all bask in the glory of this dress, and have a moment of silence for whenever I do wear this for the first time, because I predict socks getting knocked impermanently off.
GPOYW: Really like this tie. I’m into the shirt/tie/hoody combo as of late. Goes well with my Jem earrings.

It’s warm like summer again this week, so I have on a a summer dress… with a scarf!

I finished my scarf last night! I am really proud of it. It’s really cozy, super warm and a little over 5’ long. And this is the perfect fall color!

I ORDERED THE MARTHA JONES JACKET!
According to the support at the website (Which has been very helpful, btw!) It’s a little big, but that’s perfect, because I’ll be able to wear it well into the winter with lots of hoodies and sweaters underneath.
I have a feeling I’m going to live in this jacket. I might wear it in the summer. Who knows?
I also straightened my hair for the first time in over a month today, and my hair is TOTALLY long enough to do Martha’s updo. AWESOMEISTA HALLOWEEN COSPLAY HERE I COME!

Going for the simple black dress with the sexy back, because I got happy and my heart (and ass) grew two sizes over the course of a year :)
